August 1981, Xiamen Solid Electronics Limited was founded in Xiamen as the first Sino-foreign joint venture of the city; May 1997, Amoisonic Electronics Company Limited was incorporated, with Xiamen Solid as its main sponsor. June 4, 1997, "Amoisonic Electronics" was officially listed in Shanghai Stock Exchange (SWAP code: 600057). July 28, 2003, Amoisonic Electronics Company Limited was re-registered as Amoi Electronics Company Limited, a part of our brand name re-engineering project.

In year 2006, the sales turnover came up to RMB 5,513,010,000 (approx US$710,439,433) while the net profit reached RMB 24,210,000 (approx. US$3,120,000).

Today, the registered capital of Amoi is RMB 429,840,000 (approx. US$55,391,753) and its total asset is RMB 4,305,010,000 (approx US$ 554,769,330).

As a technology driven international electronic corporation, Amoi is focusing on 3C industries, namely Communication, Computer and Consumer Electronics. Yet its six business divisions have established an extensive range of products, including mobile communication, consumer audio and video system, portable system, IT and electronic equipment.

Many popular digital products are designed and manufactured by these 6 business divisions working in a highly effective and low cost way through ERP system from research, procurement, and manufacture to sale.

Amoi Electronic Town is our new manufacturing plant that covers an area of 430,000 square meters. We possess the most complete mobile phone assembly line in China; we do everything from software development, hardware design, SMT, plastic molding injection, UV painting to the finally assembly. As the flagship electronic manufacturer in China, our annual manufacturing capacity is: mobile phones 10 million sets, PHS 2 million sets, LCD TV 300,000 sets, amplifier 5 million sets, speaker 1.5 million sets, computer and peripheral device 1 million sets.

Amoi boasts a strong team of product research and development. We have set up 3 research centers in Xiamen, Shanghai and Nanjing respectively. The annual expense on R&D totals 6% of its sales turnover.
